5 Staples Every 20 Something Needs

{ one }
Nude Heels

(splurge)
Christian Louboutin Apostrophy Pointy Toe Pump

(save)
Steve Madden Proto Pump

Having a solid pair of nude heels is absolutely essential in my mind. They go with practically everything and I can attest to the fact that I wear mine at least once a week. Definitely worth the investment! If you're looking to splurge on a pair to have for years to come, I would highly recommend the Louboutins that I linked above. They are different than the classic patent and that's what I love about them. To me, this makes them a bit more professional.

I've also linked a pair of Steve Madden pumps that I own. These were worth the purchase as well because let's face it - you don't want to rock those Louboutins every single day! I save mine for special occasions and special outfits. I would recommend the same to you all as well.

Little Black Dress

Elbow Length LBD

Faux Leather Skater Dress

Ahh, the little black dress. I feel that every woman in the world would give this same recommendation. Wearing black, just like a good tan, covers all those little imperfections that we all have. Who doesn't love a fashion secret like that? I've linked two of my favorites above.

The first one is such an amazing classic to have in the closet. I wore it time and time again through the winter and fall last year. You can style it so many different ways making it the perfect staple piece to have around. The other dress I've linked is for when you're wanting to let a little fun out. I will say that in my day to day life, leather is not something that you'll generally find me wearing. However who doesn't love to break out the sexy every now and again to show off those curves??

Quality Denim

KUT from the Kloth Boyfriend Jeans

I. Love. These. Jeans.

I can't say enough amazing things about them. The fit is amazing. Not too tight, not too lose. With a boyfriend jean, the idea is to not have them squeezing you to death like a skinny jean would. However you don't want them to be so loose that they look baggy. KUT from the Kloth has found the perfect combination and I would highly recommend a pair if you're in the market.

Let's face it - nothing gets more wear out of the closet than a pair of jeans. Investing in a pair of jeans will more than pay for themselves - especially more than that one stunning dress in your closet that's only been worn once!

Neutral Handbag

Quilted Handbag

This quilted handbag of mine is hands down my favorite. The one I'm holding above is actually Chanel but I found one that's a little more reasonably priced and linked it above. Don't get me wrong - it's still an investment! I know that I'll have this bag for years to come and that's why I would encourage a neutral investment bag to you. This is something that will last you for years and years to come. After all, neutral never goes out!

{ five }
Go-To Lipstick

Mac Cremesheen (Creme Cup)icon

Oh my GOSH! This lipstick, y'all. Holy cow it is truly perfect.

I've worn mine down to the bit in just a little over a month - that's when you know it's good! This light shade of pink is absolutely perfection. If you're a blonde with skin tones similar to mine, click that link above and order yourself at least one tube of this lipstick.

Every woman should have a lipstick that makes them feel like a million bucks even when they're dressed in their casual best! Ha. No, but I do wear this lipstick for all occasions and I think it's important for ladies to have that one tube that's a true love. Give this one a go! I can promise you that you won't be sorry.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the tips today. What are some of your all's closet staples?? I'd love to hear!
