Beauty Essentials

Today I'm doing a little something different. In the last year, I've become (mildly) obsessed with trying out new beauty products and I'm dying to share my break down with you all! In the post below, I'll include 6 of my favorite products and why I love them.

Ahh, the face masks :)

Try one, try them all - it's addicting! I've tried my fair share of face masks but today I wanted to share just three of my favorites with you all. Let's start with Peter Thomas Roth Sulfur Masque

This mask is perfect for keeping that healthy skin well, healthy! If my skin starts feeling a little more oily than normal, I throw this mask on for out 10-15 minutes before bed. I wash my face, put on the mask then check my emails and social medias one last time. Once I've finished that, it's normally time to take off the mask and reveal a refreshed face! Ready for a new day.

Next! Okay so we've covered which mask to use for day-to-day issues. Now let's tackle those pesky breakouts. Just because I'm in my (mid? Ah! Scary!) 20's now doesn't mean that I'm immune to breakouts. Nope, they still pop up from time to time with this oily skin of mine! Enter GlamGlow 'Youthmud'icon.  Talk about a life saver! Sheesh. I adore this mask. I can count on this mask to clear out my breakouts. Warning that it does make your face feel like you just got your latest injection of botox but after? Ah, it feels fantastic. Who doesn't love being acne free, ya know?

Now that we've covered all of our acne dilemmas, let's move on to when our skin just needs a little recovery. Whether it's from one too many glasses of Chardonnay or too much sun exposure, we all need a little skin rejuvenation from time to time! Let me introduce you to your new best friend ladies - Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Gel Maskicon. Another life saver! It makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. I originally purchased this as a sunburn remedy (which I still use it for that!) but I've found myself using at least once a week for one reason or another. Great purchase!

On to hair care!

Whether you have curly or straight hair, I'm sure you have a running list of products you'd gush about over lunch with your girlfriends. (P.S. I'd love to hear any recommendations you all might have! I'm always down to try a new product.) Today I'm focusing on hair care for any type so if you have curly hair, still stay tuned!

Moving from left to right, we'll discuss the Chi Silk Infusion first. I've used this product for a couple of years now. I started using it because my hair was a little disheveled at the ends. This product is perfect for helping your hair healthy and strong despite all of the heat that we apply to it. It's a great go to.

The next product is one that I simply adore. I've always had thin hair and this product changes the game for me. I can always count on it to revive my thin hair and trick you into thinking that it's not actually that thin. Wahoo! I'm always game for a product like that, aren't you? No but this is truly a great product and if you have thin hair yourself, definitely purchase a bottle of Living Proof Thickening Cream like, yesterday…

This product has saved my life in this summer heat. Seriously - I would hate to know what my skin would look like without NYX Shine Killer. This was actually an impulse purchase when I was at Ulta one day and I've re-purchased several times since then. It's amazing! Definitely worth the purchase. It's a great addition to your beauty routine.
