Irresistible Me Hair Extensions

Eek! I am SO excited to share today's post with you all!

I've always wished that I had thicker hair (or at least more to work with!). Although I'm aware that you always want what you can't have so I'm sure there are a few of you reading this saying "Ugh! Girl be thankful for that thin hair!". I know, I know. That's where the idea of hair extensions first entered my head. Ah ha! A solution to my hair dilemmas.

For a few years now I've contemplated trying them but hesitated because I simply just don't know what I'm doing! I know that might sound silly, but hair extensions are a thing that if done well, can be wonderful. However, I've seen plenty of cases where they are not done well and you can tell from a mile away.

That being said, let me just say that I cannot say enough complimentary things about Irresistible Me. I was very impressed with how realistic these where when I put them in. Everything from the feel, to the volume to the way they blended with my natural hair - it was all perfection!

Below, I have shared all of the details about the exact extensions that I ordered for my hair. Look this over (and feel free to click and order a set of your own!) then I'll walk you through my selection process.

My Extensions Details:

Silky Touch, Honey Blonde, 16", 140 grams

Alrighty! Let's get started on selecting your extensions.

Step 1:

My first selection was the line of extensions I wanted. They let me choose from signature weft, silky touch, royal remy hair, volume vixen and ponytails. For me, keeping natural was my top priority so that's why I selected 'silky touch'. Because my hair is so naturally thin, I didn't want to go overboard with something that wouldn't pair well with that.

Step 2:

The next selection was the color and this was honestly the hardest part for me. In the summertime, I always ask my hair dresser (shoutout to Hannah McAlister at Bello Capelli - she's always so thorough and I love it!) to lighten me up in the summer and transition into a darker tone for the cooler months. This is relatively common between those that get highlights I think! That being the case, my hair color can alter from time to time. I will say that although this is slightly darker than my natural hair color, it blends very well.

Step 3:

The next selection was the length. I didn't really ponder this one for too long as I had a pretty good idea of how much length I was looking for. If you all need some help with this, here's a reference:

Step 4:

Last but not least is ordering the weight. Originally, I went to order 100 grams but I had a little assistance and she advised that I opt for the 140 grams. I'm really glad I listened! The extensions came in 6 different parts, each varying in size. This way you can add as little or as much as you'd like! It's always better (if you have the option!) to have more to choose from than have to go without.

Good news! Irresistible Me was kind enough to offer readers 10% off with promo code 'IrresistibleKathryn'. I hope you all take this discount and run with it because this is one thing you'll never feel 'buyers remorse' for. Like I said - I truly cannot say enough great things about these extensions!

Happy Friday, y'all! I hope you have a fun weekend ahead :). I'm heading to Nashville later this evening and I'm excited to spend some quality time with my best friend over there. Who doesn't love girl time?!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this post, although quite lengthy, was helpful :)
